FOOTBALL IN THE HEART OF AUCKLAND CITY

Enjoy the fresh air outside during your lunch break and play football in the heart of Auckland’s CBD!  If you have ever played football or even kicked a ball around a little with your children or friends, you will soon come to realise how much fun and effective this activity is on your physical and mental health and fitness.

FREE TO MEMBERS, JUST TURN UP

Mondays and Fridays — Games start at 12 noon

Weather permitting — make sure you arrive early to warm up

Social (the skill level is average to very good currently) soccer with up to 6 a side, not too many rules but certainly a tough excellent fitness workout. Held out on One Five One’s tennis court and is THE most popular group activity of the club. If you make playing regularly a habit you will not only have better games from your skills and fitness improving, but you’ll start to see additional benefits like weight loss, improved athletic ability and better muscle tone. Win, win! Or win, lose — depending on how you play 😉 But remember, warm up sensibly first so avoid unwanted muscle strains!

CASUAL PLAYERS WELCOME

$12 per person for game only

At some stage before each non-member’s first visit, a pre exercise medical form must be completed and your blood pressure will need to be taken by one of the club’s trainers. Please phone ahead to make a quick booking with a trainer.

WANT YOUR OWN GAME WITH YOUR OWN GROUP?

Set up your own one off match or better yet, arrange to play regularly with the same team of friends each week, same place same time.  Start a league, we can assist….  a bit of outdoor fun all while getting very fit!
